Gutmark, Radtke and Company is a management consultancy specializing in the area of ​​risk management and in particular credit risk management, which counts the leading financial service providers in Germany among its clients.

By risk management we mean all operational tasks, processes, models, systems and methods that are necessary for valid economic and regulatory control as well as risk governance.

You already have extensive professional experience in risk controlling, controlling, accounting or similar topics or have already dealt with the topics mentioned in the financial services sector during your training.

What you should bring with you:

  • At least five years of professional experience in a project or client-oriented environment, preferably in the area of ​​audit-related management consulting
  • Alternatively, line and project experience in a risk-related area of ​​a bank, asset manager or insurance company
  • Understanding of the opportunities and challenges of our clients, for example with regard to topics such as digitalization, artificial intelligence or robotics 
  • Experience in managing projects or agile initiatives, e.g. as a sponsor, senior stakeholder, project manager, scrum master or product owner
  • An outstanding degree in economics or a MINT discipline
  • Confident demeanor when dealing with managers, persuasive skills and strong communication skills
  • Self-initiative and structured, goal-oriented way of working as well as the ability to delegate
  • In-depth understanding of relevant work processes in our clients' risk management and ideally knowledge of a typical application system, such as:
    • Trading systems: Summit, Kondor+, Murex
    • Risk management systems: RiskWatch, RiskManager, Sophis, OneSumX
    • Reporting systems: Abacus, BAIS, RegPro
    • ERP systems, especially with regard to bank-relevant modules
  • Excellent German language skills (for non-native speakers at least level B2)
  • Very good English language skills
  • Willingness to travel
